Over the past three decades, politics has devolved into simple red vs blue argument. We don’t want compromise from our candidates, and we rarely listen to the opposing side. So how do we turn the ship to start seeking better leaders, instead of just opponents to the other team?
• Does the party’s platform override the lack of quality in a candidate for you?
• What qualities do you think would be appealing to the majority of voters on both sides in a Presidential candidate?
• What would a candidate from the “other” party have to stand for to get you to vote for them?
• Do you see anyone in politics today that could be a unifier? Who are they and why?
• Does the party system of government and elections need to be dissolved? What benefits or problems does it bring?
