The thing you need to understand about the new thing, the next level thing, the now thing, the “this is who you ARE now” thing, is that at first glance, it might seem like the horribly uncomfortable, scary, ouchy, even irritating and anger inducing thing of “I don’t WANT” thing. Especially if the previous thing, the thing it’s been until now and that your mind thinks it should still be, is kind of, well…
Awesome.
Cool.
Epic, and beyond what most people would ever imagine, let alone manifest or do!
Say, for example, you created a whole bunch of success in your previous season of life. Let’s call it, for argument’s sake, the season of you doing a YOU thing. In your own efforts. Strength. Ideas. And imagination of flow. And let’s say, for argument’s sake, you’ve now finally woken up to the fact that you don’t WANT a “I created this” sort of life anymore. In fact, even though parts of you would disagree with this (hi ego, mind, own will), on a deeper level you NEVER wanted that life.
And yes….
I am talking about in your business, your money, your love life and relationships, your health and money…
ALL OF THE STUFF!
Because even though it was absolutely fabulous, amazing, and the ‘F-UCK YES’s’ were plentiful, it was exhausting. You found yourself stuck in some rerun of getting caught up on all that old success, like you just kept focusing on and speaking about, pointing toward all those high school or college BIG deals that you did then, but now here you are in the middle of your life, or coming up on it, or even past it and realize that it may have mattered then oh so much, but now, its just blah.
And the truth is that even during that time, so much of it was covering up a deeper call, an eternal call, a true identity call, a call to be who you are meant to be. Who you were woven in the womb as, sanctified as, and to walk forward in what you are and always have been born to be.
And the truth is that all of the stuff, as wonderful and impressive and even fun as it was, was simply never going to fill that place inside of you which can only be filled by a life fully lived in alignment with your true self.
Here’s the thing about being a purpose-driven, high-performing person who has finally figured out who they are and what they are here for. We just can’t do the counterfeit anymore, but we sure will hold on for dear life long past the point of knowing that. Which, if this is you, comes down to this: You are still in agreement with who you WERE, and life is saying, “But that’s not who you were meant to be, that’s not what it was ever meant to be, and oh, by the way — the new thing I have for you is sooooo much better.”
Like the saying goes, “The best is yet to come.”
I’m talking to the high achievers who did do ‘spectacular’ things in their own efforts when I say your mind is holding on to a story that because you made this or that sort of money, accomplished these or those kinds of goals, were known in this or that kind of way, were respected, got the lover in your bed, the car in the drive, the house, the travel, the body, the…the…the… — that letting GO of that, walking away from that, being done with that, perhaps even being so bold as to deliberately walk forward without looking back and just let it crumble. Let it burn down to the ground as you NOW step fully into the you that God intended you to be — is ever so freaking terrifying.
Because?
Because you made all that greatness happen. Yes you did!
But what if the new thing, the now thing, the you thing for this season of life, simply wasn’t about that? Because it was (and this is inherently true, because it is how the universe works)
So, effing better in ALL the ways.
Here is the takeaway that I want you to get, truly get from my words today.
If you’re so scared to let go of the identity that once was, you’ll never walk forward into what is. Do you really think that the best for you is a lesser or in ANY way paler or less desirable thing than the always-slightly-exhausting thing that you currently have and created already, which simply meets some worldly standards and even then, never was enough? That’s ridiculous.
Am I right?
Do you feel like it was enough or are you still wanting for more?
Do you now feel like you are enough?
Worthy enough?
Accomplished enough?
No.
Of course not!
And that’s the way life works.
And let me tell you what else is:
No matter what your sexual identity is, your religion or spiritual views, no matter what you have achieved thus far, if you are still riding the coattails of that, that you already created back there, because you still have not chosen to believe there’s a better now, because you believe somewhere in that pretty head of yours that THIS is as good as it can ever be, is just silly.
And that is what God calling you to embrace today.
Your mind, emotion, and will are scared to lose themselves. Your soul is screaming to still be in charge. But don’t you get it?
You must lose your life.
That life that you already created and built.
That you felt like you had to hustle for.
Your real life and blessings are still awaiting you.
But it means letting go of the past.
And all that comes with it.
Right now, you have a choice: Walk boldly, with a spirit of boldness in you, into the NEW thing, or keep trying to resurrect the YOU thing of your past. I don’t have to tell you — it already lost its tarnished a long while ago.
You’ve got to stop pretending and get up to speed with the universe and your soul. Or you will really lose.
Instead of just reacting to life, hustling, and pushing through from a place of force and exhaustion, consider the power of the law of attraction and taking aligned, intuitive action. When you align with your true self and listen to your inner guidance, you move from a place of flow rather than struggle. This shift allows you to attract opportunities, people, and circumstances that resonate with your highest good.
In every area of life — love, money, health, and more — the principle remains the same. When you cling to outdated identities and achievements, you block the new and better things that are trying to come into your life. By letting go of the past and embracing the present with trust and openness, you make space for the miraculous and the magnificent.
So, what if you trusted that the universe has your back? What if you believed that the new thing, the now thing, the YOU thing, is not only possible but destined for you? What if, instead of holding on to what was, you allowed yourself to be guided towards what will be, with confidence and grace?
The journey ahead is one of transformation and expansion. It’s about stepping into a new season of your life with faith, knowing that what awaits you is beyond what you can currently imagine. It’s about living a life that’s not just built by your hands but crafted by the synergy of your true self and the abundant universe.
Take the leap.
Trust the process.
Embrace the new.
And watch as life unfolds in ways more extraordinary than you ever dreamed possible.
What is the BIG picture past the big picture you have now?
As always loving you from here,
