A new study has revealed America’s most loved dating apps this Valentine’s Day, with Tinder taking the top spot.
The research, conducted by instacams.com,analyzed search volume data between January 2024 and December 2024 to find the average number of monthly searches per dating app across America. The dating apps with the highest number of monthly searches on average determined the final ranking.
Tinder ranks first, with 1,401,413 average monthly searches across the country. Tinder was the most popular dating app in 47 of the 50 states in 2024, with the highest search volume naturally coming from California, Florida and New York.
BLK rankssecond,with 1,047,317 average monthly searches across America in 2024. The dating app was the most popular in Georgia (40,506 monthly searches), Louisiana (13,452 monthly searches) and Texas (110,007 monthly searches).
Third in the ranking isAshley Madison,with 978,252 average monthly searches in the US. Throughout 2024, the app was the second most popular in 25 states, with some of the greatest search volumes coming from Washington and Illinois.
Zoosk ranks fourth, with 624,233 average monthly searches across the country. Zoosk was the second most popular dating app in Maine, with 5,271 monthly searches, and Rhode Island, with 3,568.
In fifth comesAdultFriendFinder,with 605,997 average monthly searches across America in 2024. The dating app was the second most popular in Alaska, with 1,719 monthly searches, and third most popular in a further seven states.
Plenty of Fish comes in sixth, with 539,478 average monthly searches in the US. Throughout 2024, the app was the fourth most popular in Kentucky (8,857 searches), Missouri (13,682 searches), New Hampshire (3,846 searches), South Carolina (9,913 searches) and Wisconsin (13,273 searches).
Seventh on the list iseHarmony, with 455,914 average monthly searches across the country. eHarmony was the fifth most popular dating app in Kentucky (5,832 searches), Maryland (9,625 searches), Vermont (1,487 searches) and Virginia (13,759 searches).
In eighth place isGrindr,with 367,400 average monthly searches across America in 2024.
Seeking ranks ninth, with 350,374 average monthly searches in the US.
Landing the tenth spot isBadoo, with 324,997 average monthly searches across the country. Badoo was the fifth most popular dating app in Texas, with 42,898 monthly searches.
