For the last 10 years, The Good Men Project (GMP) has been sparking a conversation about the changing roles of men in the 21st century. We envision a world where racism, sexism, homophobia, bigotry, and intolerance do not exist. An open, inclusive world.
In that time, we’ve built a community of over 10,000 contributors, with more than 100K posts on our primary publication GoodMenProject.com, which receives millions of unique views each month by readers in every country of the world! In 2019, we began syndicating our content to Medium, and in early 2020, we created five new publications on Medium, each with hundreds of contributors, already.

In the Fall of 2020, we expanded our reach, again, adding another three publications:
- Shelter Me: A refuge for mind, body, and spirit, covers all aspects of health and wellness including mental health and chronic pain.
- Co-Existence: Social Justice, Ethics, and Environmental Justice, a publication about justice and equity for all members of the human race and our home planet
- Modern Identities: Celebrating our relationships with self and others. The focus here is how we define ourselves in different contexts, and understanding the labels society uses and why.

We are developing our Writers’ Community via Patreon, where our focus will be to support authors of nonfiction articles, essays, and books who want to learn to improve their writing, expand their reach, get published, and grow their audience while making a difference.

Once a month starting in November, we will present a live webinar from our 6-class series How To Be a Rising Star in Media, designed by Good Men Project Publisher, Lisa Hickey. The sessions will be presented by Lisa Hickey and/or an Executive Editor. As an additional benefit, sessions will be recorded and accessible to Tier Two and Tier Three patrons.
