The Sexiest Quality a Man Can Have?

I am following up with a story my husband wrote, The Sexiest Quality a Man Can Have.

How that story came to fruition was because I had mentioned to my husband, Josh, about that one time when we both were exhausted from our newborn, I could not stay awake to save my life, and he took the baby from me and took the shots for us. He spent an hour or two putting her to sleep. We had both tried it already, with a call to the pediatrician and some Children’s Tylenol given.

When I walked in and saw a sleeping baby in his arms, I said, “That is the sexiest quality of a man, being able to put a baby to sleep.”

Almost a Year Later

Well, almost a year later, what do I say now about the sexiest quality of a man?

My Answer Is:
Being able to put a baby to sleep is the sexiest quality a man can have.

I get it; most men who are fathers do put babies to sleep every day. And great for them. Technically, I would not know if I felt the same when I saw another man with a sleeping baby. I might not even care, to be honest, ha! But, when I see my man with our sleeping little girl in his arms, that gets me every time.

I’ve read all the comments from my husband’s article, and for the most part, the negative ones were just people being cynical, and they thought they were going to read some awesome new research on the subject. But that is just part of reading a story; it may not be what we expected. I have been disappointed with many books in the past, but I have not written negative reviews. To be mean to a man who just wrote a story based on what his wife (me) said that he thought was funny is as childish as I can imagine someone being.

He did not read many of them; he was too busy (and still is a very busy man). But I was the one who was stuck with reading them. Something those commenters did not think of. Which just speaks to who they are as a person.
