When life gets to you, it is time to get back your groove.
What’s wrong? Life may have gotten to you.
Sometimes I can feel this way. My motivation is gone, my energy is tapped and I am done. That is where you and I need a little help. I came across this motivational message by composer Jerald Simon (for more on Jerold, see below).
Why do we need motivation?
Why do we need motivational messages? What is it about the world, about work, about people that makes motivation necessary?

My first thought is why do we need motivational messages? What is it about the world, about work, about people that makes motivation necessary?
Is motivation a finite resource?
Motivation cannot be measured, but will power and energy can. Psychologists talk about decision fatigue as a phenomena where our decision making drains our energy, our mental and emotional power… aka: Our motivation.
And let’s be honest. Some people are invested in keeping you down. They feel better when others are in the mud. And some make money by keeping you down: in a dead-end job, selling you the next new diet, or buying the next course on how to make easy money. When you are down, you are a target, a growth market for some industries because bad emotions sell products.
It takes more energy to see what is right with the world, because that is you investing your attention to one more thing. It is easy to just let it slide and go with a negative circumstance, past mistakes or trauma. If you want to make a change, you need to invest yourself.
Wake up and get up

When you wake up and determine to be more positive, to smile, to see yourself as a dreamer, not one who is broken, the world won’t applaud. Not because people don’t care, well some of them really don’t. The world won’t notice your change because other people are caught up in their own effort to push back against whatever they are facing.
Some are making headway.
Others are standing still.
And others are running downhill.
But you? How will you face today? Sure it takes energy, and willpower. Your energy bank account may feel empty, your attention may be gone, your positive vibe may have vibrated away.
You cannot change it all, but you can begin now. Each decision you make sends a message through your body and moves your brain cells into action. Energy invested creates more energy, attention spent results in greater focus when you invest in becoming who you can become.
Dare to not just get by in life, but stand up and be an example.
The power of music: This stuff ain’t just fluff!
In case you think this is just stuff is just fluff, music is powerful. It is healing. It has been shown to change your mood and aid in healing. It will help you cope and will increase your energy and motivation.
Today is your day!
Keep it Real!
The music video is inspired and written by Jerald Simon. His CD (EP) is titled, Pulse and features 6 techno/pop soundtrack-like instrumental pieces that feature the piano and is reminiscent of the stylistic rhythmic beat of the 1980s. Here is a link on Jerald’s website where you can hear the pieces:http://musicmotivation.com/pulse
