It’s interesting how we travel through time…
We go from age ten, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, sixty and beyond into our older years, because number-wise, our age always continuously progresses. But, essentially, our age never affects who we are truly and regardless of how much we may age. The core being of who we authentically are remains the same. Simply put, we are who we are and the rest of time is only a mere accumulation of memories.
In essence, we are a receptacle of life. We contain everything within us that’s transpired throughout our lives day after day, year after year. Every memory of achievement, victory, struggle, disappointment, injury and moment of insecurity is documented and when lumped altogether forms a nice, neat unique little package called “You.”
Many people hide behind the powerful, fabricated, fictionalized images they’ve created, only choosing to reveal fashioned versions of themselves to the external world. They’ve become experts in concealing what’s contained beneath the surface, and keeping who they really are hidden within a neat little package and shielded away from outside view.
A powerful external appearance hardly means brave…
The term “Powerful” cannot merely be defined through perfectly chiseled images or the “Ring-leaders of illusion” who have perfected the art of meticulously stashing away their personal demons until it seems no one else is looking before letting them out to play.
I believe the term “Powerful” is more accurately defined by individuals who so bravely choose to become “Open packages,” sharing human aspects of themselves and revealing the truth of who they are by leading authentic lives. Vulnerability is power because living from a vulnerable space requires tremendous strength and incredible courage. Living vulnerably also creates real freedom because when there’s nothing left to hide, there’s nothing left to lose, leaving only one thing left, everything left to gain.
Really ask yourself if whatever you’re hiding and the fictitious images you’ve created really add value and meaning to your life, or eventually do you find these aspects only wind up leaving you feeling empty and the sense something’s missing?
We alone know the truth behind our fiction.
Get real.
Be authentic.
Be Vulnerable.
Leaders create more leaders, and true leaders lead not by image, but by becoming living, breathing examples that automatically correlate as inspiration for others to follow.
Stop living for everyone else, Live for You. Because at the end of day who you truly are is all you’ve really got.
Stay true to you and remember…
Vulnerability is Power.

Vulnerability can be powerful but it can also be disastrous.
I subscribe to the ‘Vulnerability is power” and I can also suggest for people interested in this toppic a great author who wrote about this Brene Brown.
Yes it can be powerful. Experienced it myself, but timing is everything. At the wrong time it can be a disaster.
We, as men, must still be wise and protective of our choices. Just the way it is…for now.
