At first everything new in life seems hard. You trip, you stumble, you fall down and mess up a ton.
But don’t give up…For it’s precisely the moments when life feels it’s breaking you which matter the most.
Get back up.
Hang on.
Continue.
Keep moving forward, regardless of how bad you think you’ve screwed everything up.
When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot onto that sucker and hold on tighter…
Picking yourself back up to rise again and again, especially when you feel fed up, tired, depressed, angry, exhausted, and more than likely all the above, is a choice. It’s the “proof in the putting” you believe there’s something more worth living for, and the belief there is indeed something far greater somewhere out there for all of us, and in your belief of yourself is there wherein all the juicy bits lie.
I hereby solemnly pinky swear:
This “rough patch” will pass, and indeed you will find that old fancy two-step you so desperately require in maintaining in this delicate “dance” of life once again.
Mastering the art of balance is no easy task. The learning curve can be slow and tedious. Like the way the famous Japanese proverb eloquently describes it, “Fall down seven times, Stand up eight.” Short, sweet, to the point. Falling down countless times only to stand up again is the name of the game, and if you don’t trip and stumble occasionally, you definitely are not trying hard enough.
Here’s the silver lining…
All this falling around like a bumbling circus act eventually leads to flying!
Living constantly in state of “playing it safe” certainly does not grow wings.
Hang tight young grasshopper, your wings are almost ready, it’s nearly time to fly!
And if you feel like you’ve stumbled and fumbled around a tad too much lately like me, feel reassured. Because I’ve just got this itching, burning, reassuring feeling from deep down inside the bottomless nether-regions of my soul we’re now entering into launch time again. So strap in tight, hold onto your hats, prepare and get ready for liftoff baby!
