When’s the last time you’ve checked in with yourself and really taken the time to intensely examine and clearly analyze your CORE BELIEF structure? Then, efficiently optimized and effectively purged any particular fixed mindset patterns you’ve noticed that hold you back, prevent growth, progress, inhibit your sense of balance, and overall affect your general wellbeing and the feeling of contentment in your life?
What are Core Beliefs, you might ask?
Core Beliefs, at their very essence, are the way you perceive yourself in relation to the people and other external factors in the outside world. And Core Beliefs don’t only apply to the way you relate and view yourself to everyone and everything now in the present, but also hold extreme relevance in how you’ve perceived your roles in both the past and the future too.
The most efficient and effective way in my own life to really dig down deep and weed out all these various mindset deficiencies is through the process of self-reflection and inquiry.
During this review process, I thoroughly take my time to realistically examine in their entirety, the culmination of the multitude of life results I’ve received in relation to every action I’ve ever taken in the past and leading up into the present moment.
Now, deciding to undergo such an intense process, as this will require you to leave any and all sugarcoating, fluffing, and any other bullshit excuses, false reasoning or stories you’ve used previously to explain away why your life is currently in the state it is, why you don’t have what you’d like, and why you haven’t yet attained the certain level of calm and contentment you would like to consistently experience. Yup, this process demands you be completely honest with yourself and face the raw truths about who and what you are and the current circumstances or situation.
Because these results DON’T LIE, and if you continue to do the same things over and over again, but then continually expect different results, well that my friends is what’s called INSANITY. That’s like digging around in the same old pile of dog shit for years hoping that one day you’ll unearth buried treasure.
So why continue repeating these same patterns again and again that at the end of the day, have only resulted in misery?
The treasure you seek is not found in repeatedly doing the same things over again. You never found joy there before and you will definitely won’t find any joy there now either. So really inquire what are these limiting beliefs you’re carrying about both you and the world around you that keep bringing about these same unhappy results and outcomes?
The fact if the matter is, to make new and better, more aligned choices you have to get in touch with your soul, and this means you must sort through what you believe about yourself and then discard any of those systems holding you back and make you feel small. You must literally find a way to do this or watch as the life you know you so desperately want and deserve…fades away.
Hey, it’s okay to look like total a fool sometimes. To get what different results in your life you’ll have to leave what’s comfortable behind and take risks. The growth you seek requires you to abandon the familiar safety net just long enough to learn something new.
You have to realize that oftentimes to really fulfill your deepest desires all depends on how far you can push yourself beyond fear, take great risks and truly acknowledge this more than likely means letting go of what you have now in order to get what you really want later.
Your beliefs, choices and actions either paralyze and hurt you, or they offer empowering momentum forward, contributing to your expansion, growth and evolution.
You don’t need to rearrange your entire life today. Just begin with changing one thing in your life, no matter how little it seems. It’s about shifting your focus away from what is not working now, and instead believing that you are fully capable in your abilities to attempt something new and different.
Let go of the belief that it is “too late.”
The reality is it’s never too late to change your life for the better and it’s never too late to remember who you are, your capabilities, and passions.
Passion isn’t something that’s discovered, it’s something that’s remembered when you believe in yourself again beneath this false version of you who’s been buried under other people’s needs and desires. Passion naturally begins when you live authentically and start loving yourself in the way that you’ve always hoped to be loved.
You are never bound to the past.
You are absolutely under no obligation to be who you were yesterday, last week, last month and definitely not a year ago. You don’t have to make the same mistakes you did when you were younger and it’s okay to want different things, new places, new people, and seek out new and different horizons. You have to believe you are never too old, too jaded, or too broken to take the first step towards change.
Don’t become discouraged if the first thing you try out doesn’t seem to give you the results you’d like. Keep moving forward, switching it up and attempting new methods until you begin to feel a sense of ease and satisfaction.
JUST DON’T STOP MOVING. Life only makes sense in reverse, but the dots can’t ever connect if you aren’t moving, and stopping the flow only invites in confusion.
What you believe about yourself and the world around you is everything, and literally creates the reality in which you exist.
So next time that sense of personal discontent and lack of satisfaction creep up in regards to the current direction you feel your life is going, step back and examine your beliefs, then maneuver to change course without hesitation.
Saying you’ve already TRIED EVERYTHING is doing yourself a disservice by saying nothing out there will ever work for you…I guarantee you definitely HAVE NOT TRIED EVERYTHING, because if you had you wouldn’t be feeling like you’re stuck in the predicament you think you’re in.
Don’t kid yourself folks, there are so many more options, opportunities, routes and new prospects to take if you only believe in yourself and their existence.
I, for one, will see you on the other side.
