In my life I felt I’ve been a mistake
Nothing seems right or goes my way
I feel like I’m a burden and should be carried away.
All I want to do is run from those who hurt me
From those who misunderstood me
From those who wanted more than I can give.
I was torn to pieces by those I loved
As I heard about my father’s arrest
All remaining strength went down the drain.
Yes, he wasn’t perfect, but he tried his best for me unlike any other.
As I could no longer handle the pain,
I spotted the blade that could slowly end my suffering.
One after another, I finally felt free I saw the red flowing from me
I was no longer broken because I’d found my way To a solution.
They all thought I was perfect, but not everyone is as fine as they seem.
We are all broken at some point, but the choice is yours if you want to show it.
This is my story of how I came to be.
