the aurora police department has a long
01:30
assorted horrible history of both racism
01:33
and brutality that needs to stop today
01:40
now in the midst of a largely peaceful
01:43
demonstration there was a different kind
01:44
of protesting power that came into play
01:46
yesterday
01:48
people congregated to pay tribute to him
01:49
to call for accountability for his death
01:51
and to play their violins in his honor
01:57
the violin was elijah mclean’s favorite
01:59
instrument i used to volunteer to play
02:01
violin for kittens in a shelter
02:03

03:20
ourselves of making sure we keep the
03:22
conversation
03:24
on racism police brutality and the
