What Were Your
Least Favourite Things
of 2013?
Gotta admit, I don’t really spend a lot of time thinking about the things that I hate, so I’ve pretty much erased all of the stuff that annoyed or distressed me from my memory, but a few things did linger:
Pants.
Having to wear pants.
Having to own pants.
Feet.
People taking pictures of their feet.
People getting offended when I tell them how gross the pictures of their feet are.
People deliberately @ing me upon taking pictures of their feet, because they know how gross pictures of their feet are.
Twitter outrage.
The outrage over Twitter outrage.
The outrage over the outrage over Twitter outrage.
“Artpop” (which I bought because I really liked “Applause”–a mistake).*
*I didn’t really mind “Artpop” that much, but I needed something I could use for a picture in this post.

Read: My wife left me for a woman less than three months after we were married, we have a son together (now two years old). I don’t blame her (entirely), a lot of the blame falls squarely on the shoulders of a still significantly homophobic society.
John Mayer will never stop being a primary source of my mental illness. It’s called “Mayer Awareness” and not everyone reacts the same to it, but people who have a different value system are rendered deeply ashamed that they share a living era with this artist. If I think too much about Mayer, I start questioning the point of existence. It’s even worse if I’m wearing pants.
