Tangled Before Ever After a hair raising continuation of the Rapunzel story
I really liked Tangled. Tangled was a movie that put a new spin on the Rapunzel story. It was a visually stimulating movie that was full of beautiful songs. When I heard a new TV show was being made I at first thought this was a bad idea. Yet when I saw what it was going to be I was intrigued. I was able to get a screener for Tangled Before Ever After and here are my thoughts on this movie.
You can read the plot for Tangled Before Ever After here:
Rapunzel grapples with both the new responsibilities of being princess and the overprotective ways of her father. While she wholeheartedly loves Eugene, Rapunzel does not share his immediate desire to get married and settle down within the castle walls. Determined to live life on her own terms, she and Cassandra embark on a secret adventure where they encounter mystical rocks that magically cause Rapunzel’s long blonde hair to grow back. Impossible to break and difficult to hide, Rapunzel must learn to embrace her hair and all that it represents.
I really enjoyed watching Tangled Before Ever After. It has stellar animation, good action, clever comedy and some really good original songs. I like the direction this movie went and have more hope for Tangled: The Series when it comes out. It stars Mandy Moore (Rapunzel), Zachary Levi (Eugene), Julie Bowen (Queen Arianna), Clancy Brown (King Frederic) and Eden Espinosa (Cassandra).
