‘Hedgehogs’ isn’t a perfect film but kids will like it
I am lucky to see a good amount of animated films. A few of them are breath taking, while others are good and a few that are just bad. When I heard of Hedgehogs I was excited to watch it. I was able to get a review copy and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Hedgehogs here:
The Laughter begins as a bold hedgehog named Bobby leaves his wilderness home and joins Hubert, a featherbrained pigeon, on a wild, unpredictable journey. They make their way to the big city, where stressed-out humans are losing their minds. Bobby and Hubert must calm the nervous citizens by being their cute, cuddly selves.
I thought Hedgehogs was an okay film, but it wasn’t great. The story is weak at times, and goes in some odd directions. This movie also has its share of predictable moments. There is more to this tale then meets the eye. It does have a good cast, and a pretty good ending. It won’t be for everyone, but I think kids will enjoy it.
Hedgehogs comes out on DVD and Digital February 13th.
