I'm a writer.

It took me years of being told by my family that I'm meant to be a corporate slave instead and that I'd best follow their advice to abandon that title.

But that's what I am. I write, and if I never make money off it, that's okay too.

I'm a writer because if I weren't a writer I'd be a corporate stooge with no light in her eyes. I'm a writer because I'm chasing my light and I hope in doing this that I'll have given someone else the sign that they need to chase theirs.

Here's what I write about:

I do other things, too.

I do art direction and UX/UI design for brands that have something to say. I'm an artist, and I sold my work at multiple art expos as well as independently. A friend of mine working at Vice once hired me as an art journalist for a summer.

I have a certification in mental health first aid (Credential ID N-° 001472, Lighthouse Arabia). With that I try to use it to help others through their darkest times. That is how I honor humanity.

I've helped donate to causes when I was struggling by doing tarot readings for charity. I've been a reader since I was 13.

I create, I guide, I help, I foresee, I design.

But I am a writer, and I won't allow myself to run from that anymore.
