100 Words on Love by Josh Magill

Sitting among distraught parents, I cry aloud. This room, filled with worries for young children, closes inward, crushing my soul. I fear the future; I’m afraid I’ll ruin the life of my son.
“I’m sorry I yelled at that doctor,” says one exhausted mother. “I don’t know what to do next.” These walls hold others pain, comforting us all, sharing stories to keep us sane. I hate this place. It hurts to be here, I want to forget.
My newborn son sleeps down the hallway. The pain and fear is gone as I touch his hand. I love this place.
