This blog post is based on my opinions thoughts and thinking.
Sometimes, all you need for a great day is a mental pick-me-up.
Although affirmations can’t undo any negative thinking, they can at least get your day off to a good start.
By saying something positive first thing in the morning, you give yourself an attitude boost and prepare your mind for the rest of the day.
I like to use positive affirmations the first time I open my eyes after waking up (because I have a memory like a sieve).
Here are six helpful affirmations for a positive day:
…
1. Today is going to be an incredible day. Whatever happens, I can deal with it!
We all have our bad days.
But by setting your mind up for success in the morning, it’s easier to stay positive throughout the day. And you can always deal with anything that comes your way.
Because of your positive attitude, you’ll deal with whatever happens today right when it happens, without any negative thoughts whatsoever.
Your intentions are clear; you won’t be surprised or flustered by what happens.
You’ll actively seek out the positive outcomes in your life rather than let them happen by accident.
…
2. I have amazing things to accomplish today. I’m going to be more productive than ever before!
When you believe that you can achieve something, you take action in the direction of that goal. And when you take action, your potential for success increases.
As long as your intentions are clear, the universe is always working with you — not against you — for a positive outcome. So go for it!
…
3. I trust my higher power. Everything I need is exactly where I need it to be.
We often make decisions based on what we want rather than what we need.
But our beliefs about ourselves and the world around us can’t always be verified by external factors.
Beliefs about ourselves aren’t necessarily correct either — especially our beliefs about who we are as a person or what kind of “career” we’re supposed to have.
You need to trust that your life is going exactly as it needs to, regardless of the circumstances or what other people are doing. This doesn’t mean you don’t take action or try to change your circumstances it’s quite the opposite.
…
4. I accept who I am and what I have right now. My life is perfect in every way.’
I know that this isn’t true, but it sounds good anyway.
You can’t truly accept what you don’t already have.
So, assuming that your life is perfect and has always been perfect… well, you’d be wrong. But it sounds good!
The most important thing you can accept is yourself. As long as you don’t demand perfection from yourself or the world around you, then all is well in your personal life.
…
5. I’m in control of my life. I choose to be happy and successful today.
You are in control because you are the one who decides your actions and thoughts, whether you believe it or not.
Sometimes we think we have no choice but to act a certain way. But every response is a choice — even when we don’t follow our “natural” instincts.
If you want success, then decide to be successful, and the universe will work with you toward that end.
…
6. I am open to receiving healing. I am healed of all my diseases and pains.
I’m not going to go into a long speech about how being open-minded is good for your health (it is).
All I’ll say is that we’re all made up of energy and that energy can either create or destroy us.
By being open to whatever it is that you need, you allow that energy to create a positive change. and it always will.
