Writing is my therapy, it is one of my favorite ways of expressing myself, and it is my safe place. I enjoy sharing my writings with the world and when I do, it’s like sharing my heart. If you are a writer, then you understand.
Writing for me is a sacred practice; it is an attempt to pull words from spirit. It doesn’t always come out clean, yet it is perfect. I love both creative and mechanical writing, both are challenging and rewarding.
I started my path as a writer when I was a child, hearing words from spirit. Writing was a telepathic experience as a youth. It was magic.
My love for words morphed into poetry and storytelling. Ten years as a college student and professor shifted my focus to academic writing. I enjoy writing of all kinds. Write articles: This one is obvious yet how cool would it be to write articles for publications and share your knowledge, information, and love for writing?
Write a blog: Hello! Blogs have gotten an upgrade, become a pioneer and create a blog within the metaverse, make written content within Web3!
Write a song: Do you enjoy writing music? Write lyrics for yourself or the world to hear. Take the lyrics a step further and record a song!
Write a book: It doesn’t have to take you a year as it took me to write my second book-or it can! Writing a book can be a wonderful way for you to express your love for words.
Write a play/movie: There is something powerful about seeing your words come to life with a cast reading your script!
Write Content: Do you have a knack for marketing and wordsmithing? Consider writing content for websites to speak directly to their target audiences.
Journaling: Journaling is therapy for your soul. I have been journaling for 20 years now! Writing your heart out is healing work.
Freelance: Farm out your writing services to others who need help with their writing projects and take writing assignments that matter to you.
Don’t limit the creative power you have to use your words in a loving way. Don’t discount the weight of your words and how they can be “sent out” to make a difference in this world. Writing is a gift! Share it!
