All around the world, there are people who could use a hand up. Many are doing the best they can do on their own to get through the day and feel like they don’t have anything to offer. Then there are others who feel that just because a community looks a certain way that everyone in that community is doing just fine and no one needs help. Both statements are familiar; however, they are ultimately wrong. Even if you don’t have a lot of money, there are many ways you can help others in need. Whether it’s giving away gently used items you have or even participating in a race to help those who are struggling or less fortunate than you. At the end of the year, many feel in the giving mood. Though that’s great, that’s not the only time others need help. Fortunately, there are organizations and community groups that give and do things for others all year round. That’s exactly what happens in Peachtree Corners Georgia during their annual Light Up the Corners 4 mile Glow run that happens each year in the evening. Check out this amazing video with the cast of the web series show Peachtree Positive covering all the amazing work of a community that cares enough to advocate for others in need. It will totally warm your heart. And who knows, you may even see a familiar cast member!
