Dear Object Who Lets Yourself Be Controlled,
I am you, very very soon into the future. It is really great that you are trying to bring peace to conflict and that you want to see the best happen to people you love, but you were always going to lose this one. Peace takes agreement and you will never have that agreement here. Walk on all the eggshells you want, tread lightly every single time you have a unique perspective, and be a doormat as often as you wish, but this is a distraction from where your true victory will come for you.
You have become far more lost than you realize. You have ignored so many of your own instincts and wisdom. You get so sad when people you look up to cannot recognize good things you are made of, but you overlook yourself far worse than anyone else has. People bully the hell out of you because you reek of a weakness you have chosen to embrace in order to survive difficult figures, but you are the one who gives them too much of the time of day and you are the one that needs to accept your own strengths.
You chose to see the best in people at the expense of recognizing the strings attached to what you thought was their best. One day you are going to recognize that you were just being played. You will see that circumstances you thought you could not live without were the very circumstances holding you back from truly living.
When you finally put the pieces together just embrace your new grasp of the truth and keep moving forward. Each step will lead to new steps and new adventures that you could never have experienced if you had not made that one different step than what you had planned. Let the good things build momentum and forget any shame or unforgiveness. There is too much ahead of you to dwell on the past.
