When I put income at the forefront of my life, I find that I either pinch off money, happiness, or both.
My restlessness increases and my thoughts, feelings, and emotions become infected with negativity.
When I put service first, in giving my gifts to those who need them, my thoughts, feelings, and emotions lighten…
I feel less burdened…
… and amazingly I recognize increases in happiness AND financial prosperity.
Desiring wealth and financial freedom is perfectly natural, and creates the opportunity to experience more experiences.
Experiencing new things is a healthy desire.
Desire is NEVER an issue.
Being emotionally attached to money as a source of long term happiness or security…
Placing wealth before happiness…
Prioritizing finances before love…
… will only create the same pain and suffering the individual was actually trying to avoid through the accumulation of wealth.
Love more. Desire more. Accumulate more.
Expand financially.
But understand what feeling you are seeking through the accumulation of wealth, and realize that you can have that same feeling right now with the exact amount you have.
There are happy poor people.
There are miserable rich people.
Happiness is a decision, not an amount.
Happiness is now, never in the future.
Happiness is a choice.
Your choice.
And only you can withhold your own happiness… from yourself.
