How to Bake Cinnamon Rolls
Find Rhodes Cinnamon Rolls in the freezer section of your grocery store.
Spray pan with nonstick spray.
Put the frozen rolls in your pan and cover with plastic wrap.
Keep in the fridge overnight and check on them in the morning.
If needed, let sit at room temperature until double in size.
The actual time depends on the temperature of your kitchen.
Carefully remove plastic wrap.
When rolls have risen fully, preheat the oven to 350˚F.
Bake 15–20 minutes, until light brown.
Knead the frosting packets before cutting the “nozzle”, and drizzle the icing while they are still warm.

hey kids
0:01
nice to see you again so today i’m going
0:04
to show you how to make these cinnamon
0:06
rolls
0:06
it’s not from scratch but it’s from it’s
0:09
a pretty easy recipe and you can find
0:11
them in your
0:12
freezer section at most grocery stores
0:15
so uh yeah so just want to share that
0:17
recipe for you because it’s something i
0:19
found a few years ago and yeah it’s a
0:21
nice easy
0:22
recipe for you
0:24
uh so but but first i have a bad joke
0:27
for you so
0:29
what what do you call the same thing as
0:31
a cinnamon roll
0:33
a synonym roll ah so anyway let’s get
0:36
started
0:38
okay so you’re gonna hear a little uh
0:40
tap tap tapping of my dogs probably
0:42
while i’m doing this but i it’s
0:44
fairly late at night and
0:46
i’m planning ahead on these cinnamon
0:48
rolls if you’ve not yet
0:50
found these yet somebody
0:52
showed them to me a few years ago and
0:54
they’re a great substitute for going to
0:56
the trouble of actually making homemade
0:58
cinnamon rolls they’re called rhodes
1:01
uh cinnamon rolls and they’re just in
1:03
your freezer section
1:04
uh and they come with a dozen cinnamon
1:06
rolls and then they also come with the
1:08
icing okay so you just take that icing
1:10
out and you take the
1:12
take them out they just look like mini
1:14
cinnamon rolls right because they
1:15
haven’t
1:16
risen yet so you’re going to want to
1:18
spray a pan
1:20
um and you want to get a pan big enough
1:21
that can
1:22
accommodate uh
1:24
12 rolls right so here we go
1:27
now if you’re away at college and
1:29
you’re missing some cinnamon rolls these
1:31
are a pretty good substitute you know
1:33
they’re not exactly the same as homemade
1:35
but boy they’re they’re pretty good
1:38
so let’s see here
1:40
[Music]
1:43
pans just not quite right but we’ll kind
1:45
of
1:47
get them equidistant apart okay so we
1:49
sprayed that pan
1:51
we put those in there and then you just
1:52
need a piece of plastic wrap
1:55
okay
1:58
to go over the top and what we’re going
2:00
to do here is
2:01
you’re going to put that on
2:04
and then i actually need to spray this
2:08
you want to spray it with some cooking
2:10
oil
2:11
okay
2:12
you just flip that over
2:14
like so
2:16
so that when they rise they don’t stick
2:18
to it okay
2:20
there you go something like that
2:22
and then we’re going to put these in the
2:23
freezer uh overnight and
2:26
um
2:27
you know in the morning when i pull
2:29
these out they’re probably not going to
2:30
be completely risen uh so then you take
2:33
them out and you
2:34
is that the correct use of that word
2:37
so uh
2:38
in the morning when you take them out
2:39
you’re probably gonna have to let them
2:40
sit out for probably another hour really
2:42
if you
2:43
if you plan five hours ahead if you only
2:46
sleep for five hours you can do this
2:48
ahead of time and just leave it out for
2:50
you know five hours at room temperature
2:52
and they should be it should be good to
2:53
go
2:54
but i sleep longer than that so i’m
2:56
gonna take these and i’m gonna put them
2:57
in the fridge uh for about eight hours
3:00
and then in the morning um when i come
3:02
back i’m sure they’re not going to be
3:03
completely risen but i’ll show you that
3:05
in the morning
3:06
and then i’ll show you we’ll let them
3:07
sit out and show you what that looks
3:08
like throw them in the oven then you get
3:10
to see how amazing these are so
3:12
anyway so we’ll see you in the morning
3:15
okay so here we are the next morning and
3:18
that’s what they look like see they
3:19
haven’t really risen so now we’re just
3:21
going to set them out and let them set
3:23
for an hour or two just keep an eye on
3:25
them because they really need to double
3:27
in size before we cook them so
3:30
there we go just gonna set those down
3:32
and we’ll come back
3:35
okay so it’s been about uh actually
3:37
about two hours um you know it’s winter
3:40
so we keep our whole home fairly cold in
3:43
the winter
3:44
and so it’s going to take a little
3:45
longer to rise you know during the
3:47
summer if you set these out they’ll
3:49
they’ll rise really quick but you can
3:51
see
3:52
so i’m going to take those take that off
3:53
and you can see how they
3:55
how they rose
3:56
and so now i’m just going to preheat my
3:58
oven uh to 350 and once that’s preheated
4:01
we’ll throw those in
4:08
350 and it says 15 to 20 minutes so
4:11
we’re gonna go ahead and put the timer
4:13
on i’ll put it for 18 minutes
4:22
nice
4:25
okay so that’s them um
4:28
and now you get these icing packets and
4:30
they have a little
4:32
uh tip on them so you just uh cut that
4:34
and then we’ll we’ll spread that all
4:36
around um and you want to knead these
4:39
okay
4:40
you need to knead them
4:43
uh because they you know they’re they’re
4:44
frozen when you first have them so um
4:47
anyway i’m gonna go ahead and cut that
4:48
and then i’ll just
4:50
show you what that looks like just kind
4:51
of spreading it around i think if you
4:54
you you know you don’t have to cut it
4:56
here where they have that little
4:58
um cut out for it um you could just cut
5:00
a bigger piece and but i think it’s
5:02
easier to control and you can get it on
5:04
pretty much all of them by the time
5:06
you’re done so
5:08
i’ll move the camera and i’ll show you
5:09
what that looks like
5:11
okay so here’s what i’m talking about
5:12
you have that little nozzle see that so
5:15
we’re gonna cut that
5:17
and then
5:19
just spread it around
5:24
see so you can control it a little bit
5:25
easier
5:30
[Music]
6:06
okay so that’s about all there is to it
6:08
right i mean that’s a nice
6:10
uh
6:12
makes you look like a professional
6:14
baker really uh without a whole lot of
6:16
effort you know uh i’m sure it’s better
6:18
if you made it from scratch but boy this
6:20
is a pretty good substitute
6:22
uh yeah and it’s like i said i’ve made
6:24
them before when we’ve gone fishing uh
6:26
and just set them out overnight and you
6:28
just got to pay attention to room
6:29
temperature because if it’s cold it
6:31
won’t rise properly so uh yeah so it
6:34
could take a little bit longer and if
6:36
it’s cold you could probably even just
6:37
set it out overnight and they could sit
6:39
out for eight hours and still rise if
6:42
it’s if it’s cold so um anyway i hope
6:45
this was helpful for you
6:46
uh yeah so you can get a chance to
6:50
to try it out uh
6:52
and
6:52
yeah look like you know what you’re
6:54
doing
6:55
or if you know if you’re at a way of
6:57
college and you miss your mom’s homemade
6:59
cinnamon rolls or you never had homemade
7:01
cinnamon rolls this is a good way to
7:03
start to kind of
7:04
get your feet wet learning how to bake
7:06
so
7:07
anyway yep i hope this was helpful for
7:09
you thanks for watching and god bless
7:10
you
