Birds Need To Fly
The universe is teaching me something right now, and that is to let go.
To simply, release.
To let go of possessions, connections, relationships, money, worries, troubles.
The universe is teaching me that holding on sometimes is harder than letting go, and that letting go is sometimes what we need.
Even if I may not want to let go, the universe is teaching me that I should. Often, the universe is teaching me that I must.
Such is the challenge with attachments in any form. Whether it’s the job, a person, a thought process, or a favorite thing, it’s the attachment to those things, and not the things themselves, that end up hurting us.
And so, although this feels like a season of loss, I’m trying to reframe it to letting go, and like the bird that needs to fly, I will let it. Perhaps it will come back to its nest again soon, or not at all. Either one is okay with me.
