Me and the homies ain’t stopping
‘Cause we heard we’re the only ‘hood that’s popping
Straight bucking
25-to-life ducking
Knocking on God’s door Like the hood’s liquor store
Dropping enemies to the floor
Looking like deceased corpses
Mamas crying ‘cause they’re seen leaving in a body bag and hearse
‘Cause I have a thirst for blood
‘Cause I’m a real LA thug
F****d up my freshman semester Never less tho
‘Cause I’m from Western Feeling pressure
Gotta get better
‘Cause I’m known as the ‘hood professor
Gotta stay sequestered
Smoking weed and making music it’s how we do it
Verbally and mentally hater can’t step to me
So they hatin’ on me, trying to bust on a g
Ima voice on the ghetto
Where dead bodies make up
My meadow
Civilians rolling with stelleros
Cause we’re all callejeros
At the age of 16
Sippin’ on codeine
But never was a fiend
I don’t bang ‘cause it’s for youngsters
Now I’m a money-making hustler
With my roll dog Alan
Pounding gallons
Cause we really got the street talent
We never had it
Never born with a silver spoon
So I had to fend for myself with my gun tools
Smoking weed and making music it’s how we do it
Verbally and mentally haters can’t step to me
So they hatin’ on me trying to bust on a g
I was never cruel
So had to study and go to school
I was known as the brown fool
I was lost like Blue’s Clues
I learned dancing with the devil Will last forever
I live through the rainy days ‘Cause I live day by day
Lived through ‘hood struggles So had to smuggle
To help my mother
‘Cause I grew up without a father And I didn’t stutter
It’s alright though
Understand Us
‘Cause without you I learned hurt And pain
But I earned the respect you never gave
Smoking weed and making music it’s how we do it
Verbally and mentally haters can’t step to me
So they hatin’ on me trying to bust on a g
Saying we’re crossing borders Borders crossed us nada man
Saying we’re not good enough The system got my homies Distances
So I speak and you better listen, this is real gangster poetry
Looking at a dead end street.
