WHAT DO I ADMIRE
“Our conversations are ones of interpretive dreams, spiritual meaning, mathematical probabilities and the need to commit to enduring assets. My spouse is there to understand, ask critical questions and step outside of comfort zones. She is required to think about concepts no one ever asked her about, to encounter situations as unfamiliar as a fish flying, and to prepare for surprises no one thought possible. I admire the virtues of resilience, perseverance, commitment and vigorous self-improvement. I value wealth not riches.”
COMMON ADMIRATION
Many people value things put together with wood, stones and metal. Whether it be the fastest car created or the most luxurious mansion. Common admiration is reserved for that which is common. This often takes the form of materialism. We know this admiration is common because it is prolific everywhere.
You can go nowhere without being showered with imagery of wealth or imagery of physical beauty. Ironically, becoming rich in itself is not the goal — according to a Pew Research Center Report a mere 13% of people categorized Being Wealthy as “very important” to them. Interestingly 43% still said it was “somewhat important”. (2) Wealth in the context of this brief paragraph contradicts my use of the word for the duration of this article. Wealth in the context of this article refers to enduring assets possessed by the soul; whereas, the statistic cites it as a form of material assets (transient and non-permanent in nature). Please note the difference and you can read more about my concept of wealth here if interested.
In another previous article I discussed at length how skin-deep beauty often leads one to a position where a person is most likely to be cheated on. Most likely doesn’t mean guaranteed. It means the most probable circumstance over all other circumstances.
Common things are possessed by good and bad people alike. Being rich is a common thing despite its apparent rarity among the population. For it is uncommon for everyone to be rich but we will always find someone who is rich no matter where we go.
The Result of A Common Choice
Common people tend to fall victim to becoming easily frustrated or angered. Common people often focus on what they do not have versus what they still have. They are easily pacified if their expectations are met. It is easier to give a child a toy than to teach a child how to grow up or learn how to cooperate with others.
This is the woman rich men often entangle themselves with.
NATURAL ADMIRATION
It is more seldom for a person to notice a flock of birds, a group of butterflies or a quiet sunset on the horizon. Speaking of my personal experience I know very few people who stopped what we were doing to watch the sunset. I know even fewer people who wanted to observe a flock of birds. I know only one person to admire trees as we walked through a park.
Natural people observe the environment and find beauty in the harmony of life. This requires a higher level of thinking. These people tend to be more resourceful, more appreciative and generally happier with what life has to offer them. They are typically the rarest person.
The Result of A Natural Choice
Natural people are not easily pacified with simple things. These people typically look to have environments which offer peace of mind over luxury.
This is the woman all rich men wish they had but typically fail to lure.
SOPHISTICATED ADMIRATION
A scientist seeks a fellow scientist to appreciate the reason for their views. Philosophers seek to philosophize with others. A mathematician will search for a peer who can offer insight. The sophisticated person admires the efforts, skills and expertise of others. Mutual respect is based on intellect and one’s capacity. Much of their admiration is based on ability. Sophisticated admiration tends to dismiss natural phenomena as trivial — or non-consequential. There can be a “need to know why” complex with sophisticated admirers versus appreciating things for what they are.
The Result of A Sophisticated Choice
Sophisticated people need to be convinced. A sophisticated person cannot be lured or ticked. This is generally a very daunting task. As a result, a sophisticated woman can represent a challenge to a rich man. She is typically the one thing which he is denied. This desire to have what he cannot have is a strong motivator for pursuit. If he obtains the woman he typically stays committed to her for nearly a lifetime (if not a very long time). Think of Bill Gates and Melinda Gates (27 years before divorce). Another example is Ben Carson (married 50 years). Mark Zuckerberg is going on 13 years of marriage (despite being new age liberal millennial).
This is the woman a rich man holds on to if he can find her.
UNIVERSAL ADMIRATION
To quote Marcus Aurelius, “But he who values the universal rational soul, fitted for political life, regards nothing else as high as this: being around others whose sold is as reasonable and communal as his.” (3)
The Result of A Universal Choice
The development of virtue is an asset of the soul. As a result, the assets of the body, mind and heart are not prioritized. There is nothing to preclude a rich man from becoming wealthy in the soul; however, it is often the rarest occurrence. Often a rich man and wealthy man are at odds with priority. The rich man often values transient assets over permanent ones. Therefore, it is rare for a rich man to choose a wealthy woman — although it does happen sometimes. When a rich man chooses a wealthy woman (a woman full of virtue) often he transforms. You see this when a man gives up everything for a woman. (Think Prince Harry and Meghan). It is rare but possible.
This is the woman a rich man becomes transformed by if he is open to growth.

The concept I teach in this article is free. Some of my personal stories are not free of charge as everything costs something. The techniques I discuss in this article I use. The purpose of reading this is to help those gain a different perspective about seeking someone who is rich to marry.
If you are interested in the motivations rich men have, it’s critical you read this. This is a time-tested philosophy I have personally deployed and taught to others. This is insight based on my numerous interactions with people you read about, watch in movies and hear rumors about through TMZ. It might not be Pew Research Material but it is primary source data which Pew Research Center craves. If you’re a lady give it a read as the results might surprise you.
