My candidate didn’t win the election, the odds were against her from the start. I could have played the game in my head, does my vote matter. Do I really want to go wait in line and vote? I did because this wasn’t about me or who won or lost, but participating in the circle of life or my belief system which is God’s plan. The power of the mind is stronger than any media one may watch. We all have the power within to create the life we want, however one must take action steps in order to achieve that; and when a certain action doesn’t go our way we must have that inner power knowing that even though it might not make sense right now this is the highest good for all.
Through my life circumstances just like yours, unexpected things happen to us that gives us the opportunity to grow. This could be one of them. My hopes in writing this blog is to help comfort for those that are scared, angry or hurt. In addition to the people that are happy that their candidate won that they may have the heart to reach out to the ones that are angry, hurt or scared.
We don’t need a President to bring the country together, though it will help. We have the power within to do this ourselves. Yes, our oneself. Our thoughts, actions and some of God’s help can make the difference. We must dig in and be the change in the world! If all this noise is bothering us, that is good. Someone or something is trying to get your attention. You have the power and free will to decide who or what that is.
When my outside world was crumbling with a divorce, three unsuccessful startups, it was the inside world that kept me strong. My relationship with GOD has always been my priority! I have been angry at God saying stuff like I do all the right things in life and this is what I get. How selfish I have been. How small I’ve been playing the game of life. How grateful I am for all the things that haven’t gone my way as it has humbled me and taught me to finally surrender, let go and to live my life with a simple quote from Norman Vincent Peale. Put your trust in God and just go calmly on your way.
What I’m still learning on a daily basis is the only thing I truly control is how I react to situations. I can react out of fear, anger, stress, anxiety or I can choose love, peace, kindness or compassion.
God loves you and will never desert you. Put your trust in Him. God Loves Trump no matter what he has done. |
I’ll end by this example of work in progress. My former wife came in as I was typing this blog to go over money. I immediately became cold towards her as anxiety set in. I knew all this was happening and shifted to a place of love, peace and kindness even though I couldn’t display it right away. I’m still working on me. We all are. We are human. I love God and I know God loves me and doesn’t give up on me no matter what I do or the mistakes I make.
God loves you and will never desert you. Put your trust in Him. God Loves Trump no matter what he has done. Trump is on the largest stage of his life and we the people are his boss along with God. Let’s give Trump a chance, do we really know what’s God’s plan is for him, for us, for our country. The God I know chooses love over fear.
God loves you. Let’s move on and get on with our day. How grateful we have another one here to celebrate.
Jill Stein thank you for running! Hope my voted counted along with 1,207,140 votes for you to never give up!
Live Brave,
Chris
