I wanted you to heal me
to tell me that all the creatures
in my head
are just fragments
of a mirage
that is fading
But it’s not fading
The mind-mist I create
flourishes
it propagates itself
until it swallows
the thought that created it
I know you can’t heal me
and I know
now
that is not the sharp point
of this existence
The sharp point is
what it is
As malleable as I want it to be
A truthful barb
or a flimsy reed
wafting the smells and sounds from the sea
Can you feel it?
