Some people run because they have to, some because they want to, some because they are running from their past and some because they’re running to a future. What’s your reason?

“Any day that I am too busy to run, I am too busy.” — John Bryant
It’s hard to believe we are 25 pieces into this series. We here at GMP Sports have learned a lot about why people run and even more about our readers. Good health and a strong mind have long been associated with physical exercise, but running holds a deeper place in most people’s heart who have the addiction. It’s a way of life, not exercise.
We asked our readers the following questions:
“Why do you run?”
“What are you running from?”
“What are you running towards?”
There have been a ton of great answers and we don’t see it slowing down anytime soon. We are proud to present you with the latest five.
And we’re looking for more. So please send us your submission via email to mkasdan@gmail.com or via Twitter @michaelkasdan #WhyWeRunGMP and #GMPSports. Submissions can also be made through the below comments section or on our Facebook page.
