
Okay, let’s get real for a second.
You’ve been diving into the Law of Attraction for what feels like forever, right?
You’re visualizing, writing affirmations, creating vision boards, chanting mantras, whatever it is.
But somehow, instead of attracting that dream life — financial freedom, love, happiness — you’re stuck with the same old struggles, frustrations, and chaos. Hell, maybe your life feels like one big “Groundhog Day” episode where the drama just keeps hitting replay.
So, what gives?
Why does it feel like the Law of Attraction works just fine for everyone else, but your life is still one big mess?
Well, the truth is, the Law of Attraction is working perfectly. In fact, it’s doing exactly what it’s supposed to: reflecting back the frequency you’re vibrating at. And if you’re carrying undealt-with trauma (which, by the way, we all are to some extent), then guess what?
You’re manifesting from that wound.
Yep, trauma is basically a massive anchor weighing down your manifestations. You’re walking around with a negative, fear-based frequency without even realizing it, and it’s wreaking havoc on what you attract. You may be putting on your “positive vibes only” face, but deep down, the buried pain, fear, and unresolved baggage are calling the shots.
Let’s break this down.
1. 𝓝𝓮𝓰𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝓢𝓮𝓵𝓯-𝓘𝓶𝓪𝓰𝓮
If you’ve been through trauma, especially from childhood, chances are you’re struggling with some form of “I’m not good enough.” No matter how many times you say your affirmations in the mirror, that core belief is what’s actually running the show. The Law of Attraction doesn’t respond to words — it responds to your vibration.
So, if deep down you feel unworthy, guess what?
You’re manifesting more situations that reinforce that belief. You attract people, jobs, and experiences that scream “You’re not good enough” right back at you.
2. 𝓕𝓮𝓪𝓻-𝓑𝓪𝓼𝓮𝓭 𝓣𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓰
Trauma breeds fear.
It’s what trauma does.
Whether it’s fear of being hurt, fear of failure, fear of success, or just fear of the unknown, it clogs up your ability to believe in and attract the good stuff. You can’t manifest abundance when fear is the louder voice in your head.
Instead, what do you get?
More situations to be afraid of. You basically become a magnet for fear-filled outcomes.
3. 𝓤𝓷𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓸𝓵𝓿𝓮𝓭 𝓔𝓶𝓸𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵 𝓟𝓪𝓲𝓷
Trauma stores emotional pain in your body.
You might not be consciously aware of it, but it’s there. It’s the reason you feel “off” or anxious for no apparent reason. It’s the reason you sometimes can’t get out of your own way.
And guess what?
That pain creates energetic chaos, disrupting the flow of positive energy you need to manifest the good stuff. The Law of Attraction is all about alignment, and you’re way out of it.
4. 𝓢𝓮𝓵𝓯-𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓸𝓽𝓪𝓰𝓮
Let’s say you actually do manage to manifest something good — maybe a new job, relationship, or opportunity. But then, out of nowhere, you find a way to wreck it.
Why? Trauma triggers self-sabotage.
You don’t feel like you deserve the good stuff, so you subconsciously find ways to destroy it before it can even take root. Trauma has you playing the same broken record over and over.
5. 𝓛𝓲𝓶𝓲𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓑𝓮𝓵𝓲𝓮𝓯𝓼
Trauma tells you all kinds of lies: “Life is hard.” “Good things don’t happen to me.” “I can’t trust anyone.” These limiting beliefs become your baseline, your operating system.
And guess what?
That’s what you’re attracting — more hard, untrustworthy, difficult situations. Because the universe is a mirror, baby.
You think it’s going to give you something different when you keep putting out these crap beliefs? Nope.
6. 𝓔𝓷𝓮𝓻𝓰𝓮𝓽𝓲𝓬 𝓑𝓵𝓸𝓬𝓴𝓪𝓰𝓮𝓼
Trauma blocks the flow of energy. Imagine you’re a river, and trauma is a dam holding everything back. You want to manifest abundance, joy, and love, but that energy can’t flow because trauma has built an energetic blockade. If you’re not clearing out that trauma, you’re just manifesting from a place of blockage and resistance.
7. 𝓕𝓸𝓬𝓾𝓼 𝓸𝓷 𝓢𝓾𝓻𝓿𝓲𝓿𝓪𝓵
Trauma keeps you in survival mode.
You’re focused on getting through the day, getting by, instead of thriving.
The problem with that?
You can’t manifest abundance when you’re stuck in a survival mindset. Manifestation requires expansive, creative energy, not the narrow, limited energy that survival demands. Trauma keeps you in the “just enough to get by” zone, and that’s all you’ll ever attract.
8. 𝓐𝓽𝓽𝓪𝓬𝓱𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽 𝓽𝓸 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓟𝓪𝓼𝓽
Trauma makes you relive the past.
Constantly.
Even if you think you’ve moved on, some part of you is stuck back in that painful memory or event. And the Law of Attraction can’t help you create a new future when you’re anchored in the past. You’re literally manifesting more of the same pain, over and over, because you’re energetically tied to it.
9. 𝓛𝓪𝓬𝓴 𝓸𝓯 𝓣𝓻𝓾𝓼𝓽
Trauma destroys your ability to trust — in yourself, in others, and in the universe. You need trust to manifest. Without it, you’re closing off the channel to receive. If you don’t believe the universe has your back, you’re right. You manifest what you believe, and a lack of trust just brings more situations that confirm you’re alone in this.
10. 𝓕𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓸𝓯 𝓢𝓾𝓬𝓬𝓮𝓼𝓼
This one’s sneaky.
Trauma can create a deep, subconscious fear of success because it often feels like it comes with strings attached. Or maybe you’re afraid that if you succeed, you’ll be exposed, vulnerable, or lose the love you have. Trauma has you convinced that success will only bring more pain, so you push it away.
1. 𝓐𝓽𝓽𝓻𝓪𝓬𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓜𝓸𝓻𝓮 𝓣𝓻𝓪𝓾𝓶𝓪
Yep, this one hurts. If you haven’t dealt with your trauma, you’ll keep attracting more of it. The universe mirrors your vibration, and if your vibration is one of unresolved pain, you’re going to draw in more experiences that reinforce that pain. It’s a vicious cycle.
12. 𝓘𝓷𝓪𝓫𝓲𝓵𝓲𝓽𝔂 𝓽𝓸 𝓥𝓲𝓼𝓾𝓪𝓵𝓲𝔃𝓮 𝓒𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓵𝔂
Trauma messes with your ability to dream, to see a clear and vivid future. It clouds your vision, making it hard to truly see and believe in the life you want. And if you can’t see it, you can’t create it.
13. 𝓢𝓾𝓹𝓹𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓼𝓮𝓭 𝓔𝓶𝓸𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓼
Burying your emotions doesn’t make them disappear. It just buries them deeper into your energy field, where they become a ticking time bomb, manifesting more situations that force you to face them.
14. 𝓗𝔂𝓹𝓮𝓻-𝓥𝓲𝓰𝓲𝓵𝓪𝓷𝓬𝓮
Trauma makes you constantly anticipate the worst. You’re always on edge, waiting for the next bad thing to happen.
That’s the energy you’re sending out, and guess what?
The universe responds by giving you more to be worried about.
15. 𝓕𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓸𝓯 𝓥𝓾𝓵𝓷𝓮𝓻𝓪𝓫𝓲𝓵𝓲𝓽𝔂
To manifest the life you want, you need to be open. Vulnerability is key. But trauma makes you put up walls. You can’t let the good stuff in if you’re too afraid to open up.
16. 𝓓𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓻𝓾𝓬𝓽𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝓗𝓪𝓫𝓲𝓽𝓼
Trauma often leads to destructive coping mechanisms — addictions, bad relationships, unhealthy habits. These lower your vibration and block your ability to manifest from a place of health and alignment.
17. 𝓓𝓲𝓼𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓷𝓮𝓬𝓽 𝓯𝓻𝓸𝓶 𝓘𝓷𝓽𝓾𝓲𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷
Your trauma cuts you off from your intuition, which is one of your greatest tools for manifestation. You don’t trust yourself, so you ignore your inner guidance, and end up making decisions that derail your manifestations.
18. 𝓢𝓱𝓪𝓶𝓮 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓖𝓾𝓲𝓵𝓽
These are two of the lowest vibrating emotions you can carry. Trauma often leaves behind deep layers of shame and guilt, and these block your ability to attract anything but more situations that reinforce those feelings.
19. 𝓕𝓸𝓬𝓾𝓼 𝓸𝓷 𝓛𝓪𝓬𝓴
Trauma teaches you to focus on what’s missing, what’s wrong. And in the Law of Attraction, whatever you focus on expands. Focusing on lack brings — you guessed it — more lack.
20. 𝓘𝓶𝓹𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓕𝓻𝓾𝓼𝓽𝓻𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷
When you haven’t dealt with your trauma, you have zero patience for the process. You want things fixed now. But manifestation is all about divine timing, and impatience only leads to frustration, which pushes your dreams further away.
So, What Now?
The first step in breaking this cycle is recognizing that your trauma isn’t a side note to your manifestation work — it’s the root of why things aren’t going the way you want. The Law of Attraction doesn’t care about your good intentions or your vision board. It cares about the energy you’re sending out right now. If you’re walking around with trauma that’s unaddressed, you’re just manifesting from that wounded place.
But here’s the good news: You can heal. You can work through the trauma, clear the energetic blockages, and align yourself with the frequency of the life you actually want. It’s not going to happen overnight, and it’s not always going to be easy, but it’s possible.
