The Boy Scout motto, “Be Prepared” made good sense to me when I was a boy. It made less sense to me that I could not advance in Boy Scout rank until I learned how to tie a bunch of knots. Eye – hand coordination was a weak area of mine. I didn’t think that modern life would present me with many situations that called for the ability to tie things up, down or together. I got how this wasn’t the case when the Boy Scouts were first founded. It didn’t matter though, no knots, no advancement, so I gave up on being a Boy Scout.
I have spent a good deal of my adult life reminding myself that I should be prepared. Preparing for my retirement from work was on my mind the older I got. I think that few men conclude that they over prepared when that time comes.
Financial, health, relationship, and recreational preparations all paid off, to a degree. At least they are paying off more than they would have without any plans. What I wasn’t prepared for was addressing the increasing bizarre threats to my well being that my retirement revealed.
I never before retirement took the time to pay attention to the threat that New World Order, globalist elites posed. It had been enough to worry about Republicans.
Retirement meant time to research and contemplate basic assumptions. The inter net seemed like a good place to start. What I exposed myself to was the suspicion that much of what I had been taught and came to believe to be true, were lies. Lies perpetuated by elites to gain and maintain power, told and retold across millennia.
I wasn’t prepared for this. The Earth, not being a sphere, the pyramids of Egypt not just piles of stones, the evolution of species not being what got me here today. This is all a little bit much.
Which brings me to chem. trails and artificial lights in the sky blocking my view of incoming heavenly bodies, that will probably mean the end of my home, the planet Earth.
It was much easier believing in the scientific method and official announcements of new discoveries. Easier to focus on how to get the HVAC guy to come and install a replacement fan on my central air conditioning unit and not forgetting to balance my check book.
If the fan doesn’t get fixed I won’t be adequately prepared for the coming summer heat. If the checking account isn’t kept up to date there could be bounced check fees to pay. These consequences are almost certain, as is knowing what to do to prevent these unwanted situation.
If I focus on dispelling lies, to bring into focus the threat of another star system intersecting our own, what am I to do? Build a bunker in the backyard? Even if I could afford that, I don’t think this would be close to being adequate preparation. Hell, I don’t imagine that the rich have dug deep enough to escape what is coming.
Once you wake up to what is and what is is awful scary, there is no going back to sleep. When what is matches up with what the Bible described is the way thinks work, the necessary preparation seems clear. Believe in Jesus Christ. Seek forgiveness for my personal participation in everything that was motivated by a sense that God’s creations needed some improving upon.
How this will save my ass I’m far from certain. The only thing certain is that it will. What preparations should you be making? You might want to check out the Jesus thing. I don’t think that good knot tying skills are going to help.
