Option 1: You can choose to be the director of your own thoughts.
You can masterfully select what you want to think about yourself, about others, about the world around you.
You intentionally pick how you respond to the events in your life. With power, ownership, and awareness, you choose the meaning that you assign to everything that happens.
And as you proactively choose the thoughts that empower you, you upgrade your choices.
As you upgrade your choices, you upgrade your results.
And before long, this life you’re living looks exactly how you CHOSE to design it in your head.
Option 2: You can settle for having your thoughts be directed for you.
You can give your power to the noise your brain creates and the circumstances that life throws at you.
You can lay down and accept at face value the negative yet familiar thoughts and emotions that hit you like the never-ending waves in the ocean.
You attach yourself to the temporary sensations of the moment, and in doing so, give up your control to be the creator of your life.
Your internal emotions are dictated by the inconsistencies of the external world, so you have no way of moving forward consistently.
So you simply exist, hoping to get struck by a lucky bolt of life-changing motivation that will fuel your mighty comeback.
But this never happens because you are waiting for something on the outside that can only be CHOSEN from the inside.
This life is simply the accumulation of your actions.
Your actions are determined by the accumulation of your thoughts.
And your thoughts are either chosen by you from a place of power or they are chosen for you by the circumstances of life.
You can regain control of everything by choosing to be the director of your thoughts.
Yes, it requires more time, attention and effort. It is by no means the path of least resistance.
But it is the ONLY way to begin living the life you truly deserve.
