A better look at the newest Pixar film coming to theaters this Thanksgiving
Pixar has done a lot of very good films since they were created. Who can forget Wall-E, the Toy Story series or The Incredibles. These are just a few of the films they have released. But what they have coming up next is unlike anything people have ever seen. It tells the story from a new perspective and is a film fans of Pixar should not miss.
The film takes place in an alternate timeline where an asteroid never hits earth therefore the dinosaurs never become extinct. This means that the dinosaurs thrive and live in a world where humans exist. Arlo (Raymond Ochoa) a young Apatosaurus falls into a river and gets separated from his family. He wakes up in a strange place unsure of where he is or of how to get back to his family. He ends up befriending a little human cave boy he decides to name Spot. They come together on a one of a kind journey into a world that is beyond imagination. Will Arlo be able to get back home to his family? What dangers will he run into along the way? And in what ways will Spot help him on his perilous journey?
As all other Pixar films so far this one looks very visually stimulating. The plot is very original and the characters are sure to have the heart and determination that makes these films beloved by fans of all ages. This new trailer shows a lot more than the teaser did and gives people a better idea of what this film is all about. You actually get to hear Arlo speak for the first time which to this writer is just awesome. It is good to now know how this film begins and what type of journey Arlo has to go on and that he will have a companion to join him along the way. There is not enough here yet to make a true assessment of how good or bad this film may be, but there is enough to for this writer to get excited to see it when it comes out in November.
This is going to be a rare milestone for Pixar with the release of Inside Out earlier this year this will mark the first time they put out two animated films in the same year. It is safe to say kids will love this movie and it will be something the whole family should see together. In a world of so many animated movies coming out that are either sequels or spin-offs it is nice to see that Pixar still has many original ideas still up their sleeves. This film is scheduled to come out November 25,2015.
