About Robert Cabot

Robert Cabot is a veteran of World War II campaigns in North Africa and Europe. He enlisted in the U S Army shortly after Pearl Harbor when he turned eighteen. Some of his experiences in his four years as a sergeant are fictionalized in The Isle of Khería.
He received degrees from Harvard College and Yale Law School, served for some time in several capacities in the Executive Office of the President in the Truman administration, and then for ten years in the Marshall Plan and foreign aid programs in Italy, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Washington, D.C.
