What does “Dad” mean to you? Ron Cowie asks eight men.

“What does ‘Dad’ mean to you?” When photographer Ron Cowie set out to ask that of eight men, he didn’t think it that complicated of a question. As he describes it, “I asked it to a good sample of men in my life. Most were Dads—so in one sense, I was asking them to define themselves. The answers I got were interesting. To me, the word “Dad” means good love and gentleness. What can I say, I have a great Dad and I try to be a little more like him than not.”
