Carl Bosch has something to say to people who support their freedom to bear arms. As well as the media organizations like ‘People’ who are standing up against gun violence.

Here’s what I say to people who dramatically and loudly support their great freedom to bear arms.
If we cannot protect our children in their classrooms then we have failed as a country and a culture. By the millions they sit lined up in desks, reading poetry, learning about momentum and gravity, hearing the stories of Thomas Jefferson and Susan B. Anthony, taking pre-med classes, painting a picture of a rainbow, learning to read. And every moment they are in jeopardy. They are vulnerable to the insane sadness and sickness of personalities gone bad.
If you are against gun controls than I say, “When some madman steps into your child or grandchild’s classroom with an assault rifle…When you attend their funeral…When they miss their birthday and prom, graduation and wedding…Stand up proudly and re-state your belief in your right to bear arms.”
Pride to People Magazine.

The announcement in People includes the names and contact information for all 535 members of Congress. It’s all right here. There’s no excuse not to act now.
There’s somewhere north of 13,000 gun-related laws on the books right now. Illinois has some of the strictest gun control laws… it also has Chicago. The UK is currently trying to push through “knife control” legislation.
Laws don’t stop crime, they only define what “crime” is.
