It looks like these aliens are back and stronger than the last time they visited our world
Aliens coming to invade Earth has existed in Hollywood since pretty much the beginning. There have been many films focused on aliens in our own galaxy and a few from worlds that we have yet to explore. One film that came out in 1996 named Independence Day gave a different perspective on this type of movie and was a huge hit. Next year fans will get the sequel they have been eager to see and here is what we know about it so far.
This movie takes place 20 years after the events of the first movie where the international community has done their best to recover and build up earths defenses using left over technology from the wreckage of their last encounter with these dangerous aliens. Yet somehow before they were destroyed they sent out a distress signal that has brought about a new attack. A bigger alien task force is now one its way to Earth to threaten the human race once more. Why are they coming back to our planet? Will the human race be prepared enough to stop them? And just how big will this new task force be?
This movie looks pretty good. It has been a long time since we have seen any of these characters in action but it is good to see most of the cast together again. There is a wonderful moment about half way through the trailer that will take fans back to the first movie, it is the monologue the president spoke to everybody after the aliens were destroyed. It is as powerful now as it was then and adds a nice dramatic element to this trailer. But the best part is the emergence of the new ship. It is absolutely gargantuan and easily shows how much these aliens mean business in this new adventure. Overall this is a great first trailer that gives away some information but keeps enough hidden to not ruin any potential surprises for viewers.
If you liked the first movie you need to check this trailer out. If you enjoy science fiction movies then this is a trailer you will want to watch. Independence Day: Resurgence is arriving to our world June 24,2016.
