Legends of Tomorrow brings together a group of unlikely heroes to stop Vandal Savage from taking over the world
There are a number of really good superhero TV shows on right now. Fans have Daredevil which is coming back with a second season, Jessica Jones, The Flash, Gotham, Supergirl and a few others that are on there way to being released soon. But there hasn’t been much yet that joins together smaller heroes and some dastardly villains until now. Legends of Tomorrow is a action packed journey through time with an interesting team that is on a quest to stop one powerful man. The first few episodes have now aired and it is a show people need to be watching.

The show begins with a man named Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) asking his superiors to use a ship to travel through time to stop a powerful man named Vandal Savage( Casper Crump). Off he goes to 2016 to enlist the help of Firestorm (Victor Garber and Franz Drameh), The Atom (Brandon Routh), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee), Hawkman (Falk Hentschel), Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller). Together they will take a journey through time to find a way to stop Savage from taking over the world. It will not be an easy mission because Savage is not an ordinary man, he is powerful and cannot be easily destroyed. Why is Savage so bent on taking over the world? How does he accomplish this tremendous task? And will this team be able to find a way to prevent him from achieving this goal?

Legends of Tomorrow is a pretty good show. It does an amazing job of bringing together a rag tag pair of individuals who happen to have their share of abilities and unit them on a big goal. Now this is not to say they always get along or that they don’t have their issues. They have disagreements and even at times only make things worse for each other. This is some of the reasons this is such a good show. The characters are not perfect and are not afraid to show their human side when it is necessary. No matter how difficult or dim things may seem sometimes they always find a way to come together in the most opportune moments.

This show has earned 8.5/10. With the stellar cast, wonderful soundtrack and beautiful special effects along with the clever plot there is just so many reasons this is a must watch show. The villain is also amazing and is played on a level that is both smart and at times frightening. Vandal Savage is truly an evil person who only really cares about his goals and what he wants which shows up often on this show. There are some violent moments but nothing too graphic to scare younger viewers. It is a show that has delivered everything it promised and then some.
If you are a fan of DC then this is a show you will really want to watch. If you like any of these characters then this is a program you need to check out. Legends of Tomorrow airs on the CW Thursdays at 8:00 pm.
