I know what it’s like to carry around a pain that feels trapped within the walls of your skin and bones.
To bear a burden in silence, to drag around a weight where ever you go.
I know what it’s like to look out upon the world through the lens of unworthiness, unable to enjoy the precious things right in front of my face.
I know what it’s like to feel like a puppet in my own body, with a fearful yet critical mind pulling the strings without my consent.
I know how it punctures the heart to pretend it’s all okay, to fake a smile and nod along to a life that has become foreign and unaligned to who you ACTUALLY are.
I know how exhausting it is to pretend you don’t feel your soul screaming at you to speak up, step up and embrace the very change you know you deserve.
And worst of all, I know the darkness that sets in when you think that maybe this pain is who you are and will always be.
But I also know the beauty that arises from within when you decide to embrace your pain.
When you decide to lovingly explore its roots instead of villainizing its presence.
I know the ease, lightness, and wholeness that cascades into your world when you give yourself permission to own your pain as part of who you are instead of shaming it away as a sign of imperfection.
A beautiful world opens up to you the second you begin to love the parts of you that you have deemed too ugly to wear on display.
A benevolent universe more powerful than you could ever comprehend has been waiting to embrace you, support you and reward you…
But we block this graceful flow of goodness until we first embrace, love and reward our Self.
We are not broken, weak or inadequate – we are more whole than we could ever imagine.
It’s just that somewhere along the way, we learned to limit ourselves as a misplaced way of protecting ourselves from a threat that no longer exists.
And know that I am with you and for you, as you embark on the courageous journey of removing these limits to experience just how powerful you already are.
