‘Dark’ A show that wants to tells a unique story
I have watched some interesting movies and shows on Netflix lately. Yet none of them compare to Dark. I wasn’t sure what to expect at first. The story it wants to tells is definitely an intriguing one. I was able to watch screeners of the first 3 episodes and here is what I thought of them.

A family saga with a supernatural twist, is set in a German town in present day where the disappearance of two young children exposes the double lives and fractured relationships among four families. In ten, hour-long episodes, the story takes on a supernatural twist that ties back to the same town in 1986.

Dark is not your average show. It reminded me at first of Stranger Things, but this changed as I watched these episodes. It has a similar tone, but goes in an entirely different direction. The characters are good, and the narrative goes in a couple of different directions as it unfolds. This is a show that uses mystery and suspense as a strength. It is unclear what is happening or why, only that it isn’t the first time kids have disappeared from this town. If you are looking for a new supernatural show to watch, then this show may be for you.
