Join Mario’s brother for another adventure in ‘Luigi’s Mansion 3’
I have played many of the Mario Bros games in my time. Each one has been exciting, challenging and taken me to all kinds of fascinating worlds. Yet I hadn’t really played any of the Luigi’s Mansion games. When I heard Luigi’s Mansion 3 was coming out I hoped I would get to play it. I was able to get a review code for this game and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Luigi’s Mansion 3 here:
Luigi embarks on a dream vacation with Mario and friends upon receiving an invitation to a luxurious hotel. However, his dream quickly becomes a nightmare when King Boo reveals everything had been a ploy to capture Mario and friends. With the assistance of Professor E. Gadd once again, the reluctant and cowardly hero Luigi traverses up and down treacherous floors of the now-ominous hotel on a quest to save them.
Wield the upgraded Poltergust G-00 to slam and blow away the ghosts’ defenses, or summon Gooigi, an all-green doppelganger that can help Luigi overcome obstacles he can’t get past alone.
A had a lot of fun playing Luigi’s Mansion 3. The adventure had plenty of dangers along the way, where Luigi faced off against all kinds of ghosts. Many of the bosses took me multiple tries to beat, and their pattern wasn’t always obvious. Some floors were bigger than others, but each one was a lot of fun to explore. Gooigi was a nice addition, helping you get to places you couldn’t reach otherwise. I also liked how there were plenty of fun items to collect along the way. If you enjoyed the previous Luigi’s Mansion games then you will want to play this one.
Luigi’s Mansion 3 is available now. You can buy this game at Gamestop, Target and Walmart.
