The winter rains begin to fill the lake above this land.
Already it’s margins are mantled with green herbs.
This is the source of the river which winds through the finca bringing life and movement to the meadows.
It is also the source of drinking water for the villages hereabouts and of course for the countless lifeforms that slake their thirst here.
