I am a devoted father of one son. I am an electrician by trade, but I have shifted my career to focus on workplace training and injury prevention. I am married to a Dental Hygienist, who is my gingivitis fighting superhero. I write about my family’s journey through life on a blog called The Not So Macho Man. I enjoy playing all sports and doing anything outdoors.
Quote.
The quality of our life depends on the quality of the questions we are asking ourselves. ~–Larry Hagner
What I do well as a dad.
When I spend time with my son, I act like a kid and join his world. If my son decides to play in the sand, I get down and dirty with him or if my son is riding a pretend train I hop on board. My wife often says that she is the mother of two kids.
What I learned from another dad.
To have fun being a dad and the importance of dads playing with kids and being in the moment with them.
Lesson learned from my child.
Imagination is an important part of life; you can be anything you want to be, a superhero, police officer, baker, monster or dinosaur.
