Feeling like life is not easy lately? Me too.
So when a friend of mine shared this video, I took it as a sign to slow down, take a breath, and remember a few things. Things that I think we all instinctively know, but can forget in the busyness of day-to-day life.
The messages are from a commencement speech that actor Matthew McConaughey gave at the University of Texas in 2015. But if you don’t have time to watch the full 45-minute speech, this 5-minute condensed version sums it up pretty well.
The background music might be a little overly dramatic, but the message was clear—at least for me:
Don’t choose anything that will jeopardize your soul.
