Today I spoke with a man who at the start of our conversation had a weighted energy about him, a lostness in some fashion, like he did not know what door to look behind to find the answers he desired. By the end of our chat his entire being had shifted to this calm, relaxed, more secure being. Not even needing to worry about looking behind doors because the right door had just popped open.
Mmmmm…. yes!
This is why I do what I do every day with those who choose to say yes to themselves. Yes, to their life callings and passions. Yes to thriving.
However, still so many choose differently.
Choose to downplay their potential.
To play small and fight for the reasons and excuses as to WHY they must play small.
They say, “ Small, self-less, quiet, guilt riddled, struggling and meek is the answer. Is what is required to be loved. To get what I want and not be an asshole doing it.”
Shhhh…! But meekness is a heart posture, submission to God. And in that submission, He has given you a voice, a message to share, a BOLD spirit, one of power, love, peace, and a sound mind.
It does not mean to hide your head in the sand and make excuses as to why you are doing it.
It certainly does not mean that you just swallow and take it and never set a tone for your life or your desires.
NO!
What does a sound mind do? It gets on with doing the work of the day. It does not sway or falter. It is not derailed by false humility or ideas of “what ‘if I were properly righteous, holy, acceptable’ would look like.” It says yes to the mission at hand.
It ACCEPTS THE ASSIGNMENT.
And it does so, by listening to the heart and soul.
That inner guidance, the quieter voice of wisdom and strength, of KNOWING.
However, it’s scary to be called. It’s absolutely ever so freaking scary sometimes. It’s scary to know God is leading you to step out, stand up, be a voice in a way many don’t want to hear, may turn their noses up, or will simply think is you being too much. It’s scary to accept the mantle on your life to be that kind of channel for the truth. It’s scary to think about how on earth it all is going to be pulled off! Or through! Or done in any kind of way!
In order to step up to the plate that has been offered you, you must stop being so damn timid.
Untrusting of self and of God.
But you know what’s scarier? NOT doing the thing.
“No God. Not today! I’m just going to be over here shrinking myself down, so there is not too much light shining this way. Oh, don’t worry. I’ll do a version of what you’ve impressed upon me, in me, given me. Just, ya know — safer. And not so in the spotlight so that if I fail, yeah, if I fail no one will notice.”
Ever heard of the parable of the talents? The guy with the one talent? Yeah. Remember what happened there? Pretty simple, BAD IDEA.
You have to understand, realize and even admit that this thing you want for so badly.
This thing you want to create, manifest, build in your life, although sure it will make you feel oh so wonderful, satisfied and good. The reality is that it is not even about you.
I know…
MINDBLOW!
And if we come back to the talent’s tale in the Bible, what if you have multiple talents? More than likely, you have more than one. I know that I certainly do, and it creates a burning fire in my core and a sense of “OH f-ck! urgency!!!!” in my gut.
You really don’t want to waste those talents.
Like me, realize NOW you’re the one with three, my beautiful friend. And you BETTER be getting to work on that.
Sometimes we just wake up and want to cancel the assignment.
It’s all too tiring, and you simply don’t even know where to start or how to start or what the next best step is.
I get it.
I KNOW.
But no. You cannot. And yes. You DO want to be who you are. Pull your bootstraps up and GET OVER YOURSELF. That is your ego self.
That may have you thinking you’re a victim to life right now.
When I was chatting with this man earlier today, I shared a perspective with him on how we operate in life and here is the brief overview of it:
You there, in all your physicalness is like your pinky finger on your hand. And you have slipped your finger into a glove, which is called your life.
That finger though only has limited understanding, sight and abilities and needs the whole hand AKA your soul to get the whole job of this life done.
However, the hand can only do so much and it needs the rest of the body and the mind, heart and soul of the body to fully operate and get shit accomplished. That being God/Universe/Source — which had a much grander scope on what is happening and what needs to happen.
So, what am I saying here?
YOU are not the one in charge of providing the power, energy, focus, knowing, or provision. So, what on earth are you complaining about, seriously; what do you want right now?!
No, it’s a legit question — WHAT DO YOU JUST WISH “IT” COULD BE? — Your life. Your direction. Your anything.
Oh, that’s right. You wish it could be this. You, doing the thing of being the person you came here to be. Pouring out everything that God has given you to share.
So, if you feel as though today is a day you don’t want it to be today because of blah…blah…blah, remember what God says in Hebrews 4:7, LET A CERTAIN DAY CALLED TODAY BE THE DAY ANYWAY. The day in which you walk forward in complete faith.
Faith that you are guided ALWAYS.
Faith that you have what it takes.
Faith that your “THING” is already yours.
Because it is.
It’s really not that complicated. Wake up. Be who God made you to be. Repeat.
5 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙥𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙆𝙉𝙊𝙒 & 𝙃𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙁𝘼𝙄𝙏𝙃 𝙄𝙉
Manifestation and the Law of Attraction
One of the most powerful tools you have at your disposal in this journey is the law of attraction. The law of attraction states that you attract into your life whatever you focus on. This means that your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs are shaping your reality. If you focus on abundance, success, and the fulfillment of your purpose, the universe will align to bring those things into your life.
But it’s not just about thinking positive thoughts. It’s about fully stepping into and up to that NEXT LEVEL YOU. The you that God is calling you to be. It requires you to align your actions, your mindset, and your spirit with your highest self. This is the true essence of manifestation.
Imagine waking up every day with a clear vision of who you are meant to be and what you are meant to do. Imagine feeling a deep sense of peace and purpose, knowing that you are exactly where you are supposed to be. This is not just a dream. It is your reality waiting to be claimed.
Stepping into Your Calling
To fully step into your calling, you must first acknowledge it. This means listening to that inner voice, the one that nudges you, that whispers to you in the quiet moments, urging you to step out in faith. This is God speaking to you, guiding you towards your true purpose.
Once you acknowledge your calling, the next step is to trust it. Trust that God has a plan for you, a plan that is good and will lead you to prosperity. Trust that the universe is conspiring in your favor, even when things seem difficult or uncertain. This trust is the foundation of faith, and it is what will carry you through the challenges and uncertainties of the journey.
The Power of Action
Manifestation requires action. It is not enough to simply think about what you want or to feel positive about your future. You must take concrete steps towards your goals. This means showing up every day, doing the work, and being consistent. It means taking risks, stepping out of your comfort zone, and embracing the unknown.
But remember, you are not alone in this. God is with you every step of the way, providing you with the strength, wisdom, and guidance you need. When you feel overwhelmed or unsure, turn to Him. Ask for His guidance and trust that He will lead you in the right direction.
Overcoming Self-Doubt and Fear
Self-doubt and fear are natural parts of the journey. They are the enemy’s tools to keep you from stepping into your full potential. But you have the power to overcome them. Remember that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Use this power to silence the doubts and fears that try to hold you back.
When you feel afraid or uncertain, remind yourself of who you are and whose you are. You are a child of God, called and chosen for a unique purpose. You have been given everything you need to succeed. Trust in this truth and let it guide you forward.
Embracing the Process
The journey of unbecoming and becoming is not always easy. It requires patience, perseverance, and a willingness to let go of the old to make way for the new. But it is a journey worth taking. Every step you take, every challenge you overcome, brings you closer to your true self and your true purpose.
Embrace the process, knowing that it is shaping you into the person you are meant to be. Celebrate the small victories and learn from the setbacks. Keep your eyes fixed on the goal and trust that God is with you every step of the way.
You are being called to step into a higher level of existence, to embrace your true self, and to fulfill your divine purpose. This journey requires faith, trust, and action. It requires you to align your thoughts, feelings, and actions with your highest self and to trust in the guidance of God.
Remember, you are not alone in this journey. God is with you, guiding you, and providing for you. Trust in Him, take action, and watch as the universe aligns to bring your dreams to life.
Wake up.
Be who God made you to be.
Repeat.
This is your calling.
This is your destiny.
Embrace it fully and step into the next level you.
PS- Anyone who is challenged with my use of the words God or He, simply edit those to Universe, Source or whatever faith you desire. In my humble opinion, all paths lead the same place, to the Creator. Many names, many paths. If it’s of light and love than all is good.
