This years New York Comic Con has come and gone. This was my first year holding a press pass and I took full advantage to bring you video highlights I shot and posted on my YOU TUBE Channel.

It’s tough to hear at times, there were several interviews happening within a huge press gallery and I Phones aren’t the best video cameras but it’s well worth a watch! Pre Order on Amazon Batman ’66 release is November,11th.
A short look at the latest chapter Transformers: Robots In Disguise: Years after the events of Predacons Rising, Bumblebee is summoned back to Earth to battle a new generation of Decepticon escapees from a prison barge loaded with the worst Cybertron has to offer. He assembles a team of young Autobots that includes Sideswipe (a rebel “Bad Boy Bot”), Strongarm (an Elite Guard cadet), the bombastic Dinobot leader Grimlock, and Fixit (a hyperactive Mini-Con). Bumblebee will also be experiencing visions of Optimus Prime. Oh and Grimlock? Still awesome! Transformers:Robots In Disguise Premieres on Cartoon Network sometime in Spring 2015.
I was lucky enough to be invited to a press preview the pilot of SyFy’s 12 Monkeys during an event at New York’s Paley Center for Media. Based on Terry Gilliam’s classic Time Traveling surrealist pandemic escapade on how the world ends. This show has less of a Pandemic vibe then an almost noir “whodunit” tone with a thrillingly disjointed narrative like a jigsaw puzzle that is refreshingly challenging. It shares a very gritty, retrofitted lo-fi production value with Gilliam’s film but the comparison stops there. The Brad Pitt role is gender swapped by Emily Hampshires “Jennifer” instead of Jeffery Goines and she makes the role her own. Time Travel is notoriously hard to pull off well, the writers of 12 Monkeys NAILED it! Atlas Entertainment’s Charles Roven (American Hustle, Man of Steel, The Dark Knight Trilogy) and Richard Suckle (American Hustle, The International) serve as Executive Producers. Roven produced the original film. Terry Matalas & Travis Fickett (Nikita), writers of the pilot, will serve as Co-Executive Producers with Natalie Chaidez (In Plain Sight, V, Heroes, Sarah Connor Chronicles) as Executive Producer/Showrunner. Jeffrey Reiner (Friday Night Lights) directed and served as Executive Producer on the pilot. I can tell you this is the next must see show for me! 12 Monkeys debuts on SyFy on January 16th 2015. Here’s a short clip I shot of the Q&A that followed.
The Main Stage Panel talked about the awesomely titled holiday special : Robot Chicken Lots Of Holidays (But Don’t Worry Christmas Is Still In There Too So Pull The Stick Out Of Your Ass Fox News) Special which will air December 7th on Adult Swim. Robot Chicken’s Brekin Meyer sat down for a side splitting roundtable with myself and other reporters (Big shout out to my man @HipHopGamer from Hot 97 whom I met at my press table is a Champion Gamer, Game Reviewer & righteous brother, follow him on twitter!) it was more of a hang out really, about what the writer’s room is like, video games, censors and the Family Guy/SouthPark rivalry, such a highlight for me!
Well, thats it for now.I really enjoyed myself and met so many fellow journalists, fans, Cosplayers, talent and hard working #NYCC Staff that kept things going. Gratitude to everyone I met. Hope you all enjoyed my little foray into this years #NYCC and stay tuned to All Things Geek for more stories from the main floor, Cosplay, Panels and more!
