I don’t know how many letters I sent out into the world for you to find until now.
Like a diary, I keep telling you my inner most feelings while my pen grazes over the thick pages of brown paper.
Your presence is engraved into my mind without even having met you.
Your eyes, your smile, your voice; everything resounds inside of me like a melody, written between the stars and painted by the waves of the ocean.
A longing pull keeps me on my toes and pushes me forward step by step, towards you.
I have known you for forever and yet still have to meet you in this lifetime.
I know you and yet you are still a stranger.
A stranger somewhere out there, who knows me better than anyone else.
A home I want to return to, and a soul that connects with mine on a level which is unexplainable in this human language.
You are the one person to whom I can’t say ‘I love you’ to, because ‘I love you isn’t nearly enough to describe the feelings that took shape inside of my heart.
I hope you get to read this letter one day and when that moment arrives, you should know that my feelings will grow even stronger with every second I spend by your side.
To a love like home and a connection so clear, like the stars in the sky:
not always seen, but always there.
