Sometimes it just feels like life has repeatedly kicked you hard in the genital region.
So when your life hits the proverbial fan, it can be really helpful learning how to differentiate the key differences between the concept of giving up and letting go.
By giving up, you sell yourself short because you’ve allowed struggle, insecurity, and fear to overwhelm you to the point they’ve made you feel limited and stuck.
However by choosing to let go, you free yourself from limitation and become unstuck through releasing what’s no longer serving you. By letting go of and removing toxic people or any of your old belief systems holding you back, you create space and make room for new connections and relationships that light you up and bring you joy. Along with that, a new and different mindset that instead of limiting you is based on growth, offering up new ideas more conducive to well-being, contentment, and happiness.
Let me break down simply:
Giving up limits life.
Letting go expands it.
Giving up is entrapping.
Letting go is freedom.
Giving up is self-defeat.
Letting go is self-care.
So when you’ve made a choice to release someone or something that is hindering your happiness and/or growth and someone accuses you of being weak or giving up, remember you don’t need their permission or approval to do what feels right for you.
The only person with the authority to mandate who you are, dictate how you live and make the final decision on how your life looks or who’s part of it…..Is YOU.
