I have the luck of being a puppy mother to Rumpel and Rosie. Both are Goldendoodles and both are giant love bugs.
Each of them has their own enduring qualities. For instance, Rosie is a professional landscaper(digger) and overly helpful at eliminating grass from our backyard. Rumpel is as sweet as can be, but if given the chance he thinks that sheetrock tastes amazing(specifically the sheetrock next to the front door).
These two pups have their humans wrapped around their big paws. They definitely own us, not the other way around.
The latest trick they’ve taught their humans is that they will only come inside from the backyard if they are given a specific fish treat. This treat is known as “fishy-fishy.” Anything less than fishy-fishy is unacceptable and they will turn their backs on you. Another trick, favored by Rosie, is getting her human to introduce her to new humans. She runs over places her front paws on their chest and waits for me to say “I’m so sorry, this is Rosie and she is rude!”
Each time we try and outsmart these furry owners of ours they come up with a new trick. In no way regret having these two brilliant dogs.
But, these dogs truly have it made.
