Gas Station Mechanic Saves Stowaway Puppy’s Life (video)

CNN is reporting on the story of Pepe, a 2-month-old puppy, who had a brush with death last week under his owner’s car. The little furball somehow got wedged in the wheel well and rode for 10 miles on the freeway, until his owner saw the fluffy tail hanging out.

Terrified, she asked Xavier Hernandez for help. He and his gas station employees took out the wheel, afraid of what they might find.

Fortunately, they found a happy and relieved puppy.
