The spectacular first season of ‘Krypton’ is now available on Blu-Ray
I know a good amount about Superman. I have watched many of the movies, and some episodes of the animated series. When I heard about Krypton I had doubts it would be any good. Yet when I got offered a review copy of the first season I decided to give it a shot. Here is what I thought of season 1 of this show.
You can read the plot for Krypton season 1 here:
What if Superman never existed? Set two generations before the destruction of Superman’s home planet, Krypton follows a young Seg-El, the legendary Man of Steel’s grandfather, who is faced with a life and death conflict – save his home planet or let it be destroyed in order to restore the fate of his future grandson. With Krypton’s leadership in disarray and the House of El ostracized, Seg fights alongside Earthly time-traveler Adam Strange to redeem his family’s honor and protect the ones he loves while saving the future of his legacy from DC Super-Villain Brainiac.
Krypton season 1 was better than I expected it to be. The season started strong right away and only got better as it moved along. There were love triangles, action, betrayals and plenty of surprises. Friends became enemies while risky alliances got formed. Secrets got revealed along the way and a few well known villains showed up. ‘Krypton: Bringing the Home World to Life’ had the crew talking about all the challenges they faced in making this show a reality. There is also a funny gag reel and some good deleted scenes.
Krypton season 1 is available on Blu-Ray and Digital now. You can follow this show on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
